went to a VW dealer today...

...and left with a Porsche. Well I actually didn't leave with the car today but after a month or so of looking for a used 997s I found just the right one
Unfortunately with the millionth snow storm this winter coming tonite, I'm not sure when I'm going to be able to pick her up.

sorry for no pics but here are some details, will be sure to post some pics when she is home.

2006 carrera s black/black - 14,500 miles
from my memory options are:
X51 power kit from factory, Bose, power seats, heated seats, sport chrono plus, and a few other things.

When i saw the X51 listed on its options I was a little surprised and almost didn't believe it. Not sure that I would order the option on a new car (17,000 ). Anyways, I can't wait to pick her up!

Snow is coming and nothing is worse then picking up your new baby in a storm - I did and it was horrible. Congrats and can't wait to see some pics!

Sorry, it's 73 here right now although, it reached the low 40's in Daytona this past weekend (way too cold) for the Rolex 24. Congrats on you 06 black on black and enjoy and drive her. My first Porsche was an 06 Carerra S black on black except it was a cab.

Congratulations on the new car. Great find on getting one with X51. They are a little hard to find.
