Long time, but it fits perfect (dealer said it is a well manufactured piece). For less than $30, it's a no brainer! I'll let the pics show for themselves.

Absolutely no leaks, as I water tested it with the hose. Each side has multiple seals and the top piece fits through the glass, and then the bottom piece screws into it. Very well made IMO

I like the clean line without it. However, I can pop it back on if I change my mind.
