Love the weels. Your car looks fantastic.

I am hoping for a similar weight loss with the V308s I ordered.

Nice! Nothing quite like the feeling of seeing new wheels on your car for the first time.

thx ! HRE calls it gloss charcoal.

the semi-step lip makes the rear look smaller.. but once i lower it, it should look great

Congrats... Wheels matched the car nicely. Well done.

How does your car handle now compare to the stock wheels?

i like step better

A: TPMS mount perfectly if you have them, no special tricks
B: dont hold water behind the spokes when it rains causing them to be off balance
C: lighter, and lower rotational mass (the heavy part (spokes) are closer to the center
D: makes the brakes look great, (less gap between spoke end and rotor/caliper

wheels look good.

Nice wheels. Do your OEM wheels have the same tires on as your new HREs? I just put new wheels on today, and I saved about 20 pounds total (weighed from all 4 wheels alone vs OEM carrera classics--no tires). I swear the car feels peppier and bumps were soaked up more readily. Could be placebo, but then again, I don't mind lying to myself since I spent a lot of money on new wheels.

Looks really nice. I think you corrected the wheel widths of the Carrera sports. The rears are only 11" and I think the fronts are 8", but i could be mistaken. Also, are those the same tires on each set? Tires can make quite a difference. Nice choice though - they really look nice!

I thought the carrera sports were 11.5 in rear. Hmm the tires must account for a huge portion of your weight loss. Assuming the tires weigh the same each, and you lost 15 lbs in the rear each, there's no way the HRE rear wheel weighs ~15 lbs (OEM sport rear at 29 lbs minus 15 lb weight loss). The weight loss is impressive nonetheless. What tires do you have before and after? I wonder how much my hankook ventus weighs...
