if you go to porscheusa.com build a car screen -the black edition 997 models offer an inflatable spare tire as an option for $590. doesn"t appear on any other builds....anyone else noticed this?

 

you dont get a spare with the carrera, so its a option

 

yes tht is true that the spare for the 997 series has been dropped..what i was reporting on was that only the black edition 997 offers it as an option - it does not appear in building other models of the 997. perhaps i wasnt clear in my original post. now -any ideas why?

 

Probably a mistake in the configurator - it's been known to be wrong before.
