Help! Sticker is coming off of my A/C control unit.
Any suggestion as to how to fix this problem (other than getting the unit replaced)? Thank you.

Can't buy the buttons alone, you need to buy the fully assembled part. I have heard that using model paints will cover it fairly well.

Exactly what Northvan said... We cannot get the buttons alone, the entire unit must be replaced.
Let me know if we can help you out.

There is a writeup on repainting this button:

With the price they charge for these cars, I can't believe how the paints would just peel off...I've seen it on this button and on trim pieces such as door lever, etc.

The only thing I would add to the great steph280/planet-9 advice is to use black lacquer & not paint.
The lacquer will bond better to the plastic than paint. The black lacquer will "melt" the surface of the plastic for a nano-second and allow for a greater bond.
While you are making interior look new here is how to refurbish your door sills:

It seemed to me that the buttons start to peel at the symbol. It seems to have been masked there to allow light to shine though or to appear white and it is most fragile there. As soon as I started to see peeling I actually used the clear lacquer from the touch up paint set and gave the area a nice thin coat. It has a bit of gloss, but if you don't overdo it it is unnoticeable, and it has not shown any signs of peeling up again.
