hello guys,

I had a rattle on my headliner and dealer fixed the problem, I don't know if this is a common problem, I was looking at my sunroof headliner and I noticed that on my passenger side my sunroof is not sitting flush on my headliner, the other side does, also on the exterior, driver side, the front corner is a little sunk-in as the rear I think rear is almost flush, I remember the S.A saying that something was wrong with sunroof, if someone can look at their own sunroof for me and help me out, as I can't remember how the exterior was, is it all flush or maybe front part a little sunk in, as to the back??? I am posting pictures for the inside passenger and driver side and also the front corner of the sunroof..

mine is nearly flush on exterior - maybe less than 1/16 higher in rear but even on both sides, and interior is even and sealed up - no gaps.

Did the dealer tell you the cause of the rattle? I have something similar...gets worse when the sunroof is open.

 

No they didn't, but I had the same problem now its better.. try pushing with your hand the headliner and see if its goes away.. do you have it also with very loud music?

 

I tried pushing on the area I though the sound was coming from but it did not stop. It right behind the drivers seat in the headliner, almost sounds like cables slapping around. The noise is more pronounced when PASM on, loud music and the sunroof is open.
