Was just wondering of those that have the GTS, how do you like it so far? Everything you expected? And did you get anything of MSRP? I have been reading that at least a 5-7% cut since that have 11.5% mark up not including holdback, incentives etc.

Just responded to your PM. 2011 911's have a base markup of ~10%. Given that the GTS is limited in number, and already includes a ~$6k discount off the X51 (not to mention the intangibles like WB, CL's, and alcantara bits), discounts will be smaller than for similar MY cars.

If your dealer typically gives ~6-8% off custom orders, I would estimate ~2-3% on GTS orders. If you get 10+% off in stock, you might get 5-7% on a GTS. However, 5-7% IS NOT and WILL NOT BE the average across the board. Anyone telling you otherwise is trying to brag on their own deal.
