Ipanema blue Metallic
I'm interested to see this in person, or at least a picture of an actual car. So many colors on the Configurator don't exactly give it a true representation. It could be gorgeous...or it could look like the above referenced Easter Egg.

Super cool color. Too bad if someone wants to sell one down the road it will be nigh impossible to get the price one wants.

this was a recent GT3 photo release - i think it is ipanema but not sure but it is darn close - i love it !!!!!!!!!!!!
put it on a cab with the black roof and black out the A pillar like RS 60 Boxster Spyder and black out the mirrors like i did on mine - it would be wild imo.

maybe - but i bet the difference is subtle - put it in your configurator and post the pic above to your desktop and than make a decision. i did that and sure looks close.
anyway - in a cab it would look pretty good as the roof contrast tones it down a bit.

I've never seen the metallic ipanema but the Mexico Blue is one of my favorite colors for both the Gt3 and Cayman . On the more understated 997 it looks a bit too much like a Smurf . I have seen the Riviera Blue ona gt3 and its also beautiful .

but i think a cab could pull it off yrralis as there isn't quite so much colour. but hey, colour is about as personal a form of beauty as it gets.
