Misfire in 3 cylinders
#16
Do some research on the Cayenne forums, where there are myriad cases of fouled sensors, misfiring, and destroyed cats due to the mixture being too rich. Has to do with DFI and timing.
It is seen more with Cayenne owners because they drive their cars more, so there are more DFI Cayennes on the road with 60k+ miles than there are 911's. This seems to happen at higher mileage with the Cayennes- how many miles are your 911?

The dealership called me today (and it is my bday)
they fixed EVERYTHING in the car, filled my car up with 50$ worth of gas, washed it inside out, asked me if I wanted anything else done to the car, delivered it to my house
all under warranty
I'm super happy

What did they fix?

they cleaned my injectors, replaced my O2 sensors, a couple of broken things here and there, drained my fuel, and refilled the car they couldn't pinpoint if it was the fuel or not, but something caused all my O2 sensors to just break.. also there was sand in the fuel they drained.. :S

Couldn't ask for a better birthday present, could you? I'm happy for you that everything turned out fine and they picked up repair costs. Happy birthday to you and now...go out and enjoy the ride
