what you guys think of the LED clear taillights vs the Red ligths??on the 997.2

 

I wasn't much for them as I originally thought they were too bling and had a little bit of a Ricer look to them. Then I saw them on what was to become my Platinum Silver GTS and had a complete change of heart. I love them now...

 

a loot of people don't like them, love your car, GTS is my fav Pcar

 

Thanks, I know what you mean though. I REALLY didn't want to like them for the longest time, and can still see the reasons why they're not liked by some. But I think they really work with the lighter colors, especially the metallic ones. Now that I'm used to them, I haven't seen any cars that I don't like them on, including the 2RS/3RS.

 

I like them because my car is black, all red for me its to dark, the lighter color shows up more on my black lol ..

 

I have a set of clear LED's sitting in the garage waiting for the conversion

Just kidding.. I have a 997.1 gt3 rear bumper I got from v35 which is modified to accept 997.2 tails.. I an going for a 997.1+.2 gt3 rs look.

 

My vote for LED's, it's a newer look. The all red lights seems outdated to me. IMO

 

red and clear are LED lights on 09+ only difference is all clears are optional.. red's do have some clear on them too

 

Sorry, I thought he was talking about the all red in the 997.1

I thought of getting them, but saw them on a black 911 and it rubbed me the wrong way

as some have said, it looks a bit rice and doesn't match with the red stripe on the back

 

I would vote for them on a light colored car but not a dark one. I thought about them for my black 09 but changed my mind after seeing a black edition car with the clear tail lights.

 

I like them on black lol
