I believe I was told that there is A nut that tightens the rear windows sns these can loosen over time. I think the dealer will tighten these if under warranty. It Also causes rear popping sound when driving out of driveway or incline at am angle.

alam is your rattle a type of popping sound..especially over small bumps or rough roads?I have the same noise coming from back there to.Almost sounds like it is coming from directly below my rear window.About where the carpet trim and window meet.Any thoughts?

I removed the front wheel and trim and sure enough was the A/C line running a fraction away from the inner frame of the car. Touching it produced the sound!! No spacer or clamp..nothing securing it. I eventually settled on wrapping weatherstripping around it like a donut, did the necessary cobblestone test and voila!! Silence at last.

Just thought everyone should know where to look if it happens to you
We have a 2009 Clubman with about 22k miles I just noticed a very similar noise this morning and feel it's around the front passenger wheel...I feel it's the same but feel it's very peculiar the that it suddenly appeared did yours suddenly appear? Thanks

Just a guess.
I have 303, but don't know what to use it on. Since you have a monthly regiment with Sailkote and 303 Protectant, will you please post a thread for us to see what you do each month? That would be immensely helpful!!

rattle in passenger side

I removed the front wheel and had a difficult time removing the "trim/inner wheel well" I wasn't able to remove the "plastic buttons" holding the trim under fender. I was able to pull it back and see what looked like a drain hose but not an A/C line and the drain line looked like it was secured and I didn't believe this was the source of my rattle. I was running out of daylight and will try and remove all trim next time hopefully soon. It is an annoying noise. Btw, do you know where I can get some replacement fasteners for the trim under fender. Look forward to any input you might have.
