Finally bought my 997!
After spending too much time on this forum, I finally bought myself a 997S. I got JEllis's guards red C2S Aero, and drove it from San Diego to Carnation. I am really happy with the car.
On thing that I will have to mod is the exhaust, it has the PSE, but I would really like something a little louder. Any suggestions on an exhaust mod?

Thanks for all your help and advice!

Congratulations on the new car. I don't think I've seen a car in better shape than JEllis's 997. His car was the reason I almost bought a red 997.

There's a free airbox mod which will make it louder. At a certain [low] speed, it goes into quiet mode. I would try this first as combined with the PSE, is quite glorious.

Nice car. Did you drive the quick I-5 way or do some 101 up the california coast? One thing is you'll get lots of different opinions on how to mod your car. Take your time and maybe reach out to others at the Porsche local NW club on this forum to hear their exhaust mods in person (better than You Tube IMO)
