Fair question. I want to support business domestically.

Has anyone tried these light? Are they just plug and play or what's involved on installation? How do they look? Any faults on the computer after install?

I placed an order for a set from Frank @ Orange Tuning, I got confirmation of shipping from Frank via DHL and the waiting game begins. I paid $616 and I will post pics when they arrive within two weeks.

At 1.16 you can see my lights at night. Not the greatest vid of them but atleast its something. This could be one of the best exterior mods for a 997.1. I actually think they look better then OEM 997.2 lights

What a rush of orders for these lights!

The internet is an amazing thing: completely bypassing the "only distributor" of these lights in the US who was jacking up the price and making a huge profit $$$ .... haha to them

Hopefully Frank @ Orange tuning will ship these ASAP. Can't wait for my order!

True - the Internet really has removed many "borders"...but there is something to be said for having a local (US-based) vendor if issues arise like damaged in transit or if there are warranty claims, etc. The question is - is that US-presence worth the $200+ premium? I ordered on a Monday (holiday) and had the product on Friday. The pricing didn't bother me.

All in, you get closer to the US landed price of $898. As I said, to me the premium was worth having the product in hand.
I had the same question....i see $650 at current exchange rate before shipping/taxes so I e-mailed orange tuning. waiting to hear back now. Not sure how some of you guys got ~$600 shipped?

It's because you don't get the 19% VAT charge. I was quoted $598 including shipping to Hawaii. That's a great PRICE!

Orange-tuning only charged 30 euros for shipping and 377.31 euros for the lights. Converted to USD, I got them for $595.79.

Payment was hassle free. They take standard credit cards and paypal.
