Hi guys,

Any stereo expert out there? I have the the optional Bose system and I noticed if I have played heavy bass music, the driver door would make some buzzin' sound. That can't be right, right? Is this an easy fix by the dealer? I'm just afraid they are going to screw something up if they need to take the door apart.

I am not a stereo expert, but you may have a damaged speaker. I would take it to the dealer.

 

Sounds like a loose screw. bring it in and have them look at it.

 

Check your bass setting on the PCM. I found that the default had way to much bass which caused vibration and buzzing in the speakers. I think I'm at about a -3 or -4 on the setting to eliminate the buzz and vibration

 

Depending on what is loud. Turn off the bass boost on the HU and set your TREMBLE/BASS to neutral. Turn vol to normal listening level (~10) to see if any buzzing. If so, your speaker may be blown or something int he door may be loose.

 

If it's got no highs, and it's got no lows...it must be bose

 

Definitely, something wrong the the drive side door. I turned up the bass to +9, the passenger is okay. The noise is coming from the area above the door storage. Well, I gues no choice but to bring it to the dealer.

 

i have the same problem....900 miles!

 

Most probably it is a defect in the speaker itself

 

LOL no highs, no lows , it blows, must be BOSE!
