Once you get the paint code you can decipher them here

Another useful site for getting additional info on your new car is the VIN decoder for Porsche site

Not on the cap but on the gas filler door. Right above where it tells you what octane to use. Or look up the vin. Or post some pics.

Sorry, I am unable to find it. There is no info on the gas lid. I tried the door sills and engine compartment no luck. Also looked up the vin decoder, there is no paint code. Vin WP0AB29916S741878

As stated above, you're looking for a two character code such as:

A1 = black
X1 = Arctic Silver Metallic
Y1 = Seal Grey Metallic
59 = Slate Grey Metallic
U2 = GT Silver Metallic
E7 = Atlas Grey Metallic

If you don't see this two character code on the label pasted inside the gas filler door, look to see if you have an otpion sticker pasted in the front or back of your warranty book, owner's manual, etc.

Your dealer should be able to look up the code based on your vin. Suncoast can do it as well.

http://www.automotivetouchup.com/cho...oosecolor.aspx

i.e.: jhbrennan 041 color code is "Black"

I'm a "22d"

Thanks for all your help but there is no such numbers on the gas lid and no paint code on the manual. I will just contact the dealer.

Also look for a sticker on the underside of your front trunk lid & door jams.
