997.1 PCM Navigation acting up
Might try rebooting electronics in the whole car:
- Disconnect the (-) cable, then disconnect the (+) cable from battery.
- Using a coat hanger, wrench or what have you, connect the two cables together for at least 30 seconds (making sure not to contact either of the battery terminals)
- Reconnect the (+) cable to battery, then (-) cable.
- Start car and reinitialize PSM by turning wheels fully left, then fully right and drive 30' in a straight line (this will shut off PSM Failure warning)
- Reinitialize windows: lower window completely, release switch and press to lower again. Raise window completely, release switch and press again to raise window (resets travel stops for one touch open/close). Repeat for all windows and sunroof if coupe.
Good luck

All of this continues to work, what doesnt work is my navigation
I wonder if the DVD player is covered under my CPO warranty?
Seems like it's time for a war with the dealer
I'd try just ejecting and reinserting the DVD as the previous poster mentioned. It might just do it.

Did you try ejecting and re-inserting the DVD yet?
So, it was really bugging me. It was just not coming on at all. I scheduled an appointment with my dealer for next thursday.
BTW, My local dealer, Euroclassics - they are really cool guys and no, they are not paying me to say this.
But for now, i burnt a new disc, and VOILA !! the navigation system is up and running again. Loaded in about a second.
