Yes. It was there. It was ok, nothing special IMO.

 

Shoot. Was busy at work, forgot to set the DVR. Missed it. Which car was featured ? Hopefully not the '85 ...

 

I thought it was pretty good, but kindof like an infomercial. Great scenes of the owners engaging in their other passions (surfing, astronomy, music, fishing) and how their Porsches fit the lifestyle.

My favorite "story" was the racer/car commercial maker who commutes 400+ miles. That guy has an amazing collection!

 

I DVR'd it and just watched it. Glad I saw it but there wasn't much meat about the cars. Five owners just talk in generalities about how they like their cars and how they use them as daily drivers. That said, if you have to spend 30 minutes convincing people that a car can be a DD, then...well, you know...

Another Infomercial under the guise of Speed's "Test Drive" series. This a little too obvious as part of Porsche's EveryDay marketing campaign.

But 30 minutes worth watching.

Addressing other thread posts: Yes, I'm sure this is a bit of an infomercial, but so what? These are actual owners actually driving their cars, not storing them as garage queens. Jeff Zwart is a known P-car fan and he drives lost of Porsches.

 

I was surprised a surfboard could fit into a cayman. Kinda wished I got a Targa now...
