What would you pay?

Simple questions I guess. I found this car

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

and have been talking to the sales guy there and they came back to me first time for about $76,700 out the door with everything. I told him I have seen much cheaper and he responded back for 76,000 out the door with CPO and 74,500 with no CPO.

Based on what I am seeing in the market and KBB pricing a CPO with those options should be around 73K and only about 68 or 69 if I am not mistaken withouth CPO.

Just trying to ge a feeler on this. The only thing that is I am wondering how that blue interior really looks. I have seen such a wide range.

$76K is definitely on the high side. Heck I'd sell mine for that much in a heartbeat if I was selling it...

I almost bought an 08 C4S - Non-CPO from a dealer at $67K with 7,500 miles on it and it had a lot more options on it than this one. Granted, this one has the body mods that look good and the newer turbo rims, but it's minimal on factory options outside of that. The one I was looking at had Nav, full leather, power seats, heated seats, Bose, sport exhaust, parking sensors, etc.....

Not a fan of sea blue either, but that's just me.

I would pass.

73K is right, I even go as low as 71K for the sea blue interior, keep in mind that when it time to sell, it's going to be extremely difficult to do so, there will be a very limited number of buyers who will like this white/blue combo. White/black and white/red is the most popular. I would pass unless you get a killer deal.

Wow. Have values of used 911's gone up significantly lately?

I sold my 08 C2S right at christmas 6 months ago, and, according to this thread, it seems like values have gone up since then like $10K!

Is this true? Guess I should have waited to sell.

Yup, went up quite a bit J! I sold both of my 09s in the mid 70s with less than 5K miles.

Yes, you should had waited, I've been telling people that throw out these crazy low numbers to actually go check out the prices themselves. It has gone up, not down.

I am going to pass on this but wanted to get the experts opinions on it. I wanted to stay around low 60's for my first P car and wanted to gauge it.

I am glad I have a wealth of information in all of you to help see what really is a good price.

So I figure in my price range I can
go 07-08. Think I could get something I want for around that price range.

A car like this at an indy lot would make me very nervous . BTW . there are a lot of indy lots in South Florida and in many cases the cars look very pretty . Sometimes the car is clean and nice but when it isn't that's when the difference between an authorized dealership or a private seller who has all the recods differs from the indy.

Yep .. nice wheels , aerokit, and sitting on ebay just waiting for a bite .

I'd pass . Yeah it's pretty . Lots of things look great but it takes all the pieces of the puzzle to be ideal and at these price levels .. theres 17K miles and 3 years of doubt .

Not that it matters at this point but this is actually a dealership group. One of their dealerships is the Porsche one.

I read your post and looked . You are correct and it's my error as I had never heard of them and thought it was an independent lot.

I looked at their site and the car is listed but it's not a CPO . They have other cars which are CPO so i wondered why and looked at the carfax on their site . it's a two owner car which started out in New Jersey and apparently went to auction .

More doubts .

You are in a high price range . keep that in mind and good luck with whatever you decide.

Yeah just by the gauge of information I got here and have been reading it definitely is on the high side. I was kind of wanting to see everyones reaction to it and get a feel on what I should look for.

I am trying to stick to more of the mid 60's range for what I want to find and not get out of that budget unless it's the perfect car lol.
