thinking of painting my carrera sport wheels black like the gts, what you guys think?

 

My .02 cents.. I like 'em just the way they are.

I assume by 'paint' you mean powdercoat, correct?

 

Some like black wheels, other's don't - I do. I have GT3 wheels painted black.

 

Leave them as they are.

 

If your car is black, I think these wheels look great painted. However, my personal preference would be a white car with your color sport wheels, or black with black

I like black wheels on 911s, but only with silver rims. Kind of like the 80s fuchs style that seems to be making a comeback these days.

 

Paint them Black, I have a set of Black Sport Designs on my car right now, and people love them.

You didn't say if you wanted blacked out or black center with shiny lip.
I'm not a fan of blacked out wheels but if it must be done I prefer it done with stock wheels....as opposed buying 4-10K wheels then blacking them out.
I am a fan of wheels with black center and a shiny lip (chrome, polished or machined). If this is what u want, I say go for it.

The wheels actually look good as is but I understand the need to make changes. That's what we car guys do.

 

Is your car parked inside of a house ? As for your question .. i don't like black wheels.

 

I don't think the black version of the wheels look nearly as good as the stock silver shade. On any P-car color I've seen. So if you ask me, leave em'.

 

I love the look of black wheels on black, white, and silver cars. If you have a black metallic car, match it! That would look hot! Good Luck.
