I thought it made a world of difference in the look of the car. The black stands out better, and it just looks cleaner.

where did you order the emblem from? Also, how did you remove and what did you use to glue back on? Im looking to do same thing, Thanks!

 

Ordered the new emblem from Suncoast. Used painters tape and outlined the "Carrera" emblem to get it centered. The emblem peeled off relatively easily. I had read where some had to use dental floss to remove it, but mine didn't require it. Some excess glue/residue remained after I removed it, so I used some rubbing compound to gently take it off. After that, I polished the area.

With the painters tape still there, I centered the 911 emblem and stuck it on. Press for 1 minute and voila!

 

what did you use to stick it to the car? is there a special type of glue required?

I have always liked Carrera better.

 

assuming there like all other cars,They should come with a adhesive back already just peel and stick..

 

Looks nice, much cleaner look. With less letters, makes the car seem wider as well.
