Price Check 07 C2S CPO
Price Check 07 C2S CPO
Wanted to get peoples opinion on a 07 C2S Blk/Blk CPO with Bose, Heated seats, Sports Chrono, Electric seats with memory, full leather, Navagation and 48K miles. Asking $56,998 but I already negotiated it down to $54K. They put over $6k in it to certify it including the 40k mi service and new rear tires.
I'm going to buy this car or a 09 PDK Blk/Blk with 22K miles and a few upgrades on it for $60K. 09 is a little over my budget but whats another $8K when your spending this much anyway. Help me spend money and make it a great 4th.

Yeah that was what I was wondering in regards to the 2009.
Of the 2, the 09 is probably the better deal (unless you wanted a 6 speed).

CPO is good, but that's a high miles car. Just think, with 12k more, you'll have 60k on that car. Pretty easy to find a car with closer to 30k for about the same money. Mine had 30k and I traded it for under $50k. If you can get into an '09 for little more money and you can afford it, there are many benefits, the DFI engine, LED DRL, touch screen PCM, etc.
Just in general, is that a good price for a '09 C2? Seems like a great price since I've been tracking '09 C2S prices and those don't go for anything lower than $70k. Hard to swallow another $10k for a C2S. And this '09 has PDK, all I want is a manual, sport seats, and maybe sport crono. :-(
To the OP, it's a very tough decision, but given the 2, I would take the '09 because it is newer with a better engine. But if you are like me, and you buy cars to keep and not resell 3 years later, and you're happy with the '07, get that. But like someone said above, your resale will tank is 3 years being that it's a much older car with a lot of miles. But there is a 3rd choice, wait and save some more $$$ so you can get a '09 C2S. That's my plan.

I would pass on both and wait to find the car that I really want with the desire options and price. C2S has little high miles and price is high as well, 09 is PDK and not "S" even though it's almost same power but not the same as S.
Hold out for a lower mileage vehicle with CPO. You'll find some if you look. That way you can drive the heck out of it and not worry that your 07 has 70k+ miles after ~2 years of ownership.
Thanks everyone for all the replies. The 09 just dropped another $1000 today. Thinking I may go this direction even thought it is not an S. The PDK is pulling me that way and the fact that its a newer lower mileage car. Its well under the others listed with same mileage and much much cheaper than an S. I could easily add brakes and tuning for so much less than I would pay for an S and do it respectively without running the brand. I race shifter karts and the PDK is just like driving a kart shifting wise.
All you out there that want to go faster, avoid adding power to your car and go spend some money on a kart. You'll gain confidence and car control without much risk. After that go do some DE's. Remember Slow in Fast out.
