SpeedFilm Installed on my Cab Black Edition

Almost one and a half months and 500 miles in, finally had SppedFilm application done. I admit to have been a little skeptical about this when the business manager at my dealer pitched this to me while finishing purchase and pickup of my car. However, thanks to many of you on the board, my ambivalence waned.

I went with the full versus half treatment after having seen the half treatment on one of their used 911's on the lot. The whole process took about 3 hours.

I must say that I was very impressed with the quality and professionalism of these guys. They brought me back in at the start to show me a couple of small rock chips that i had gotten which they buffed out (they were so obscure and such a non visible location, I would have likely never known). This further reinforced the value of the investment for me as I live in a relatively smooth road environment and don't drive the car much beyond local neighborhood hops and an occasional day into the office.

Once complete, I was truly "sold" on the value of the decision as they took me through the finished product. Seamless, no air bubbles (we spent 20 minutes looking for some), with no dulling effect or inconsistencies with the black paint finish. They showed me the the lines and seams which were trimmed almost perfectly around the from end of the car.

All in all, job well done and money well spent. Of course now I have to deal with the spectre of maintaining this treatment, which somewhat amusingly, the guys all but characterized as a part time job...
