That is sweet I thought it would not happen with direct injection but as it turns out the PDK Turbo S is one of the best sounding Porsches IMO. Factor in the gear whine, blips, and turbo hiss....I think I'd take it over a GT3.

But I am intrigued by the 991 with the 7 speed manual with hill assist (Seattle). Probably a C2S.

My 2012 911S cab with 6MT also has hill assist, and I think it's a great feature.

BTW, I visited Seattle for the first time last September and absolutely fell in love with the place. The only downside was seeing so many homeless people amidst so much prosperity and beauty.

I had PDK in my 4S. I blew hot and cold on the PDK. Advantage is huge in traffic and when you are trying to drink your morning coffee. I'm sure its great on the track too. But...it was just not as involving as a 6 speed. The manual transmission and a 911/997 is a classic combination.

I now have a GTS with a 6 speed manual.

It does come down to personal preference.

Probably belaboring the point but there are many varieties of manual. My mom's Hyundai is comically effortless while a LWFW will really keep you on your toes. Something in between (most 911s) may be best. I didn't like the manual Cayman I drove, but I sure liked the GT3.
