My 997 with new Vertini Magic - Matt Black
for me personally, the wheels look too small. are those 19"? if so, you should go with 20" because your wheels is 3pc and 3pc wheels have to be big for the wheels to look good and 20" makes the concave looks better. If you want to go with 19" go for 1pc/monoblock. Just my opinion, but Vertini Magic is a nice looking wheels.
Don't 3-piece wheels typically incur a weight penalty versus their 1-piece forged brethren? How much do these weigh? I should add that they look great, and IMHO don't look too small at all.
Few comments:
- I like the concave look, and the black on white. Looks great
- I think it would look much better with black lugs. However, the cap is pretty plain. Maybe that's good, or maybe too much black / plain
- those don't look like 3 piece wheels to me. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought 3 piece wheels always have bolts around the rim.
- the size looks good enough to me. 20s might look a bit better. I think there's a trade-off, visually, with 20s in that the brake rotors look smaller. Personally, I like to see the rotors filling the open space within the wheel. When you add in the extra cost, the extra weight, and the ride quality, I prefer 19s.
- I thought a turbo was still a 997. I know in the real 911 (as a model designation days), a turbo was a 930, and when I had my 964, I knew that the turbo variant was a 965. For 993, 996, and 997, I thought they were just listed as 99xtt, but still could be classified as a 99x. Just like my C2S is still a 997. One might say that the GT2RS, or maybe the RS4.0 is the best 997. Maybe I'm wrong on that, too...

Jack.. you are right .
Lately I've just noticed posts like (paraphrasing" "look at my car", "look at my wheels "look at my steeriong wheel or intercoolers " which to me translate into .. "look at the stuff and talk about it so someone can sell it" . And when I see a 1st post of a Turbo labeled as a " my 997" but not posted in the Turbo section .. I wonder if its genuine .. or just BS .
But all that aside .
Concave wheels .. very pretty ,. but in my opinion .. more about aesthetics than performance . Someone will buy them .

I thought the same thing, but aren't some manufacturers putting the bolts on the backside, now?
