I've had my 911 for a few years now and drive it daily. However, once in a while I'll have to drive other family members or friends' cars. And I just wanted to say that the 911 has just spoiled the crap out of me. Even driving a benz feels like the benz should be put in the same category as a hyundai. Do we all feel this way?

Nothing else in my household feels the same of my 911S. I've had some nice cars but they just don't compare with the visceral feel and handling is second to none!!!

 

I just got back from a week in Hawaii where we rented a car. I was so happy to get home to my 911 that I've been waking up at 5am to go for a drive before work.

 

We owned an NSX as our daily driver for ten years. That set a high standard that determined which Porsche model we considered acceptable to replace it.

They don't build the NSX any more. Nothing else comes close.

I need a 997 too now lol...have owned two highly modified NSX's , and honestly believe doesnt compare to my mildly modified 996 C4S..

 

The only car that brings a smile to my face like my 997 cab is my 993 coupe.... Although the 993 isn't as comfortable as a DD (mainly due to worse AC and lack of creature comforts.)

 

We bought a new Xterra for camping and offroading with the kids, and since it's more convenient (and often parked behind the 911) the GTS is only getting driven every couple of weeks or so. However, every drive in it reminds me why these cars are so special.

 

Sometimes I wish that I could be more pedestrian in my demands when it comes to transportation needs. Why else do you think my signature has three P-cars ..... at the cost of a fast evaporating bank account
