I received the same thing from Braman in South Florida. My initial reaction is "the devil is in the details" What am I getting for this? Honestly, short of new tires, the only maintenance I have needed is oil and brake fluid... I guess it depends on timing, mileage, etc...
I'm only at 11k miles...

My initial reaction is it IS worth it. The oil changes alone are worth $200-300. And if you expect your next pcar (new or used) to come from a dealer, then its really a no brainer given the purchase discount. I'm going to dealer 2mrw for service so will ask about the details -- specifically I'm wondering about labor on pads and rotors. If anyone has other questions send them my way and I'll ask.
Spoke to the dealer. Offer is good only on new vehicles: less than 6 months from purchase date and less than 6K miles. Covers oil, brake flush, tuneups, plugs (if u make it that far). Doesn't cover routine wear items: tire replacement (does cover rotation, etc), pads, wipers etc.
You can buy 2,3 or 4 yrs. Personally, the more I think about it, its def worth it if you own a new Pcar and aren't a DIY type. And chances are if you just bought a brand new Pcar from a dealer, you'll do that again at some point and get it all back.

Picking up my car tomorrow, I've been leaning against the pre-paid maintenance, but if it comes with a $750 coupon, I'm in. My dealer wants $1340 for the 3 year plan, I'll try to get him to come down.

Is this the same thing as the Porsche Scheduled Maintenance Plan (PSMP)? If so, it only covers the exact services specified in the Maintenance Guide (one of the booklets that came with the car). The suggested retail that I was shown was:
3yrs/30k - $1400
4yrs/40k - $2400
5yrs/50k - $2850
There were no 1 or 2 yrs plans. Be careful. The only substantial work that is included would be:
- oil + filter change every 1 year
- brake fluid change every 2 yrs
- air filter and pollen filter change every 2 yrs
- every 2 yrs: inspection/adjusting/correcting/and/or "topping off" of coolant system, radiator, brake system, steering gear, axles, drive shafts, exhaust, seat belts, horn, headlights, batteries, etc.
Except for the oil filter, brake fluid levels, and air/pollen filters, none of this includes repairing, replacing, or reconditioning.
This is what I gathered from reading the language of the PSMP I was offered and reading the Maintenance Checklist.
Maybe this is a different offer, though.

No joke, and the DYI oil change is cake on this car.
I'm with you on leaning against. You will have a warranty if anything bad happens and even if you can't do you own oil change (it really is simple) an indie can do it for way less then the dealer.
That's what I got from the post as well, a very expensive oil change. My dealer charges $175, indy is about $130.
Just found a special on my dealer's website for the rest of July, free 3 yr pre-paid maintenance with purchase of 2012 vehicle. Going later this morning to pick up my car, planning on leasing, hopefully this deal will apply. I'm sure the finance guy won't be too happy about it though.
