Looking to upgrade exhaust sound on my '11 CS and options seem to be SharkWerks muffler bypass, AWE exhaust system, factory PSE, or gundo hack. Reading previous posts on the SharkWerks system, most seem to have PSE already installed and don't notice that much difference in exhaust note with PSE off. Good reviews on AWE total system, but some advocate gundo hack. What is that? I don't believe there is any performance gain in any of these systems, so I am looking for a more sporty sound. I have had a C4S with PSE and really liked the sound. Any help would be appreciated.

you have a small pipe welded between the inflow (pre- muffler) to the outflow of the muffler. It essentially creates an escape route for some of the exhaust to work around going into the muffler.

This is a gundo hack and it sounds awesome.

 

i know gundo and have personally heard the results. pretty impressive.

 

Don't rule out the Fabspeed. I love the Fabspeed on my 997.1 - deep and throaty, not at all 'farty'. Drone not existent and I find it so much better when Heel/Toe'ing 'cos I can now hear the motor much more.
