56 Negative feedbacks in one month!! WOW

yeah, but look at it as a percentage and a bit less alarmist than your headline (are you part of the mainstream media??? )
1 month 6 months 12 months
Positive 887 6234 11520
Neutral 23 116 180
Negative 31 132 181
and also look at some of the -ves e.g.
"The item was as described but the shipping time was a bit extreme"
"advertised for ipod touch etc, but no instructions how to use".
i don't see any real red flags there

I do this too. For PCM 3.0 (997.2) Burns straight from iTunes and can easily get 800-1000 songs on one dvd.
Not the most sophisticated option, considering Porsche was a little late with iPod integration on the 997, but considerably better than any FM modulator which is what Porsche is selling.

I would NOT buy anything from that guy, but that's just my opinion.
Happy Shopping !

It's not about the money... but if I buy something it's nice to receive it, lol

So the question is: can a simple cable plugged into any part of a 2005-2008 997 stock stereo give a 3.5" aux input?
This would be great and I'd give up FM/AM/CD to get it.
But I'm not spending $500+ for it.

Did some digging and found the "Becker" solution mentioned earlier in the thread. Apparently they offer a solution where you have to ship them the radio and they hardwire in an AUX jack.
Becker AUX Input - Details
Not sure on pricing, but still an interesting option if someone wants to ship out their radio.

Yeah, that is where I am at. The Becker and the isimple solutions are both similar to the suncoastporsche solution in that they use fm modulation, bypassing the antenna. The sun coast is more sophisticated having an option of the iPod dock connector as well to charge the iPod. If the plug in wire works would be simplest and no technical reason it won't work. In fact if the wire is already in the unit, should theoretically be able to splice into it if you don't have a cd changer. Who is going to be first to pull it out to see ...
