I'd ask them "which one do you own?" and hear their answer.

NoNoNo..
I dont buy a car to impress anyone. I just love Naturally Aspirated Engines. I never buy a car with a turbo. That's Just me. The affordability part is not even in question.
I really have so much of Appreciation for the NA flat 6. I can barely handle this car in sport mode.
I am just a regular driver who will sometimes step on it to feel the power and enjoy the curves - of the car and the road.

I get the same question, from time to time. Here's my answer: I've owned 3 turbos and prefer the N/A engine and lighter feel of the Carrera S. And both are the truth.

Then why not just give this answer, instead of being annoyed by the question? It's a perfectly reasonable answer.

I've driven various Panameras quite a few times and I feel the same way with them. The turbo is clearly faster in a drag race, but I enjoy the S more. I think that having a lighter feel is a major part of that. A relative traded his Panamera S for a turbo, and of course I couldn't tell him that I like his previous car better.

Yeah, but one can only answer patiently a certain no. of times.

Guys, I may have not worded my post properly, but i was not trying to make myself the target here.
I thought my Porsche family would like to B*t&c about these folks too.

My favorite question is ,how much does that car cost!Hate that one!MYOB!
In regard to my car collection of a humble 4 cars .People ask why do you have more than 1 ? Some people would rather invest or leave money sitting some where.I prefer to drive my money. One day at the track makes it all a big payoff off. In shear fun!
Sports cars are like kids ,you don’t know what their like till you have em!
ENJOY THE RIDE!

TO add more,
before i had a porshce, let alone sitting in one, but no one would let m even look at their exotic (Wife or Car... LOL).
Now every-time someone sees my car, they suddenly want to buy one and want not a test RIDE, but a TEST DRIVE...
I just tell 'em to go to the dealer to test drive.
I am thinking of printing out a bunch of disclaimers, where i make the guys who wanna test drive my car sign this release form stating that they are gonna owe me the original price of the new car if they damage anything - and then let 'em test drive the car.

LOL! That's right!

I guess that's a better answer than what mine would be: Yeah, the turbo is an truly amazing car, but what would I do with it? This car has more performance capacity than I can fully tap as it is...

haha, I haven't gotten that question. Most times people just want to know if my S performs as good as it looks.

Sometimes you have to consider who is asking the question. A great deal of them will always ask "is it turbo" or "did you get the turbo" and many times there is no such thing as a turbo for that particualr car.....like an M3 or a Corvette. I was asked by someone when I had my former Z06 -- "this is turbo, right?".....some people just don't know their *** from second base and see a sports car and immediately ask the "turbo" question.

Yes, but I think I take it more positively in that they are curious and showing interest and wanting to learn about something they know you are interested in. Even if the person by nature has a condescending tone, it doesn't mean it's meant in that manner.

Point taken, and not trying to target anyone. When you talk about "hating people" that conveys a stronger emotion than impatience, hence my sincere concern.

Maybe just tell people you didn't get the turbo because you like the S better, and leave it there. If they say "but isn't the turbo faster?" just tell them that it is, but faster doesn't always mean more enjoyable.
