My 997.2 transformation

I purchased my '10 C2 last September. It had most of the options I wanted on the car, except for 19" wheels (and now, in retrospect, PDK). I knew I could add the wheels later. Back in November I bought a set of Carerra S IIs from Wheel Enhancement, and this weekend installed H&R Springs. I took some pics late this evening after washing my wife's car, and did a comparison to the picture of my car the day I brought it home.

I think the wheels and springs make a tremendous difference.

How much you paid for the wheels?

Ok. I think, personally it's better if you buy other wheels about $3000 range (tires included) like BBS or forged star and it changed the whole look of your car rather than the stock look.

I love what you have done with the car. It's amazing how much it has changed the look of the car. Good job so far!

I agree, to be honest, I don't see much difference, the clear side markers looks better but the whole car still looks stock. I can't tell it looks lower, if fact, your first pic looks lower. (less fender gap).

The first pic is the recent pic. Of course, I thought that was pretty obvious . . .

My goal wasn't to modify the car; I equipped it with the options I wanted from the factory, plus the springs. Thanks for the input, though.

The mods you made really shows you´re a man of very good taste. Keeping the car with factory look was a great option instead of dropping a set of pimp wheels like many Porsche owners do. And it´s amazing the difference after mods, your car look so much more agressive now, congrats , it looks absolutely great.

IMO I agree that it is a big improvement. Still has a clean, stock look but more aggressive. How do you like the springs?

IMO the car looks much better. There is a noticeable difference in ride height and with the 19" wheels this gives the car a more aggressive attitude. I also like the stock OEM rims.

Thanks, guys, I appreciate the feedback. I'm very pleased with the end product.

As for the springs, I'm impressed. I was expecting a very harsh ride, and was prepared for it as a tradeoff for the improved stance/handling. But that isn't the case at all. I can hardly tell a difference in ride quality vs. stock. I only have 100 or so miles on the springs, but thus far, I would highly recommend H&R to anyone considering them.

I like the 19's better, fills out the wheel well. Like the lowered look too. Tastefully done.

MAJOR Improvement on an already good looking car. I'm with you on the Stock look. The only other rims I've ever considered were P40s, but with the CLs on my GTS, I can only do the CL40s, which have a slightly different pattern (more spokes) which I don't care for.

Ad the Clear Sides. Those are still stock, just the euro stock look.
