Does anyone have painted seats that aren't the cars main color?

If so please post a picture. I would love to see it. Actually please post any painted seat pictures.

Look at empunker's new speedster. It looks great! OK well, it's not the seat back, but you could extrapolate...

 

Well this is not good. I had a really custom spec planned. Had everything all planned out. I mean everything.

Without going into to much detail, I was going to have my car built with seat backs that are not the cars exterior color.

My dealer got back to me and said, it's not possible. I then searched and searched the internet to show photos of what I had seen. Can't find them.........at least not for a 911.

This is throwing a wrench in my entire build. And I wanna get this done as I want a gts, and don't want a 991.

 

I think you could easily achieve your plan with a good independent paint/body shop, but if you want it done at the factory (which I don't blame you one bit if you did) I guess you are in for a challenge.

 

Yeah, my dealership said they could have it done. Just sorta wanted it all factory built. Sounds goofy...........I know

 

these seat backs went from beige to black body color...if they can be taken from beige to black they can be taken from the body color to anything else...

I painted mine the same color (white) so my picture won't help but i will make a suggestion . On my black car I did paint my center console to match the door handle and I did consider doing the same for the seat backs . I felt it was subtle enough to provide a nice contrast . The door handle color is so neutral that it's the same on every car.

Does someone sell CF backs? Please do tell.

 

To be honest, I am not sure. I would check MACarbon. They have a lot of things for Porsche. Ive seen a picture that they have of the GT2 with a CF seat back. but i think thats factory.
