Thanks w00zie!!
Thanks w00zie!!
Short background: I've been researching exhausts for a while, actually since the day I purchased my car almost a year and a half ago. After some preliminary research on 6Speed, I narrowed it down to PSE/Gundo or Cargraphic. I came across one of w00zie's (JP) post comparing a bunch of different exhausts and noticed he had 993 in his sig. I’ve always loved the air cooled sound and figuring he had a good foundation as to what sounds good on a 997, I started to send him a few questions via PM. He was kind enough to give me his number so we could chat about exhaust, eventually turning into a lengthy Pcar chat.
Now fast forward a year or so....I get an e-mail from w00zie informing me his friend is selling a cargraphic exhaust and asked if I was interested? Of course I jumped all over it! Now, the amount of effort w00zie put into the whole transaction is incredible considering he has never met me! He purchased the exhaust from his friend, spent many hours trying to package the exhaust properly and even going as far as buying boxes from the post office! How generous is that? I received the exhaust yesterday and plan to install it this afternoon with a nice cold one! I can't wait to hear the sound!
Thanks for quarterbacking the transaction w00zie! I owe you a beer!

Johnny DB - no disrespect intended to you here. In fact, thanks for posting what you did. Nice touch indeed.
So here's my comment (to us all, not to Johnny DB) -
When somebody goes out of their way to lend a hand, to make a difference for you....return the favor. Send a bottle of Champagne. Send a case of the best beer you can find. Send a gift certificate from Suncoast or one of the detailing sponsors.
Make it count. Cripes, you can sure as heck get a nice bottle of wine for $100. And when you think of what a c-note buys you inside the shop walls....not much.
Good words are nice.
But good deeds count for more.
