Winter wheels/tire
Hello. I bought 18" wheels and Continental DWS for my Boxster S.
I'm basically going to drive all year long.
I'm from New York City and so far I've driven my DWS for about 100 miles. They're still in their break-in period, but I drove them on the highway in the hard rain and through water about 1-2 feet deep. Normally I'm very overly cautious and drive slower than most in the rain on the freeway, but these tires felt planted! I love them so far.
I will write a review after I drive them in the snow during the winter. I had a brand new set of A/S Falken Ze-912 that were the most horrible set of tires even in light snow. I had nearly bald Ze-512s (preceded the 912s) that performed better than brand new 912s in the snow.
