Turbo kit for 997.2 C2S?

Does anyone know if there is a turbo kit in development for the 997.2 C2S? I know there is one for the 996's, and I'm not sure about the 997.1's.....but a quick google search gave me unrelated links for the 997.2. I understand it will probably take a while, which is fine by me.....I love this car too much.....and I want RWD with Turbo :P

You should reach out to Vivid Racing (a board sponsor here), who have a lot of expertise in performance enhancements for Porsche.

I have their first 997.1 turbo kit in my '06 C2S and I love every minute of it. The car is absolutely transformed.

I know they are looking for a donor vehicle to develop a similar kit for the 997.2.

I would just sell it and buy a turbo... I don't think that turbocharging the c2s is cost effective to bearly reach 997tt power... My personal opinion of course...

In the original posting, the OP mentioned he wanted rear wheel drive and turbo power. That means either aftermarket for $10K plus labor, OR a 997 GT2, which would mean approx. $50,000 over the trade-in value of his 997.2 C2S.

And my 997.1 turbo RWD C2S makes more power than a 997.1 TT

Exactly, I really want to retain the RWD :P

And I sorta want a single turbo rather than twins.....I feel like it's sometimes more fun. I've still got some time, and I'm not looking to do this anytime soon, I was just curious :P

Stephen, I'm in the same boat. I talked to Vivid briefly, but I think it doesn't warrant voiding my warranty.

bumping this....still curious. I saw videos a while back from TPC with a turbo kit installed on a DFI PDK Boxster(or maybe it was a Cayman)....so I don't know if there is any development happening for the 911 DFI motor.

Yes, they are almost done with the 997.2 single turbo kit. Contact Tom or Mike @ TPC for details. I'm hoping to get mine done this coming winter.

I have the TPC turbo and my car was CPO'ed. My dealer said unless they can prove the turbo broke something, my car is under warranty. I had the RMS replaced under warranty.

rnp614 is infamous around these parts
Any word on how the 997.2 kit worked out? How does PDK handle the power?
