Question Wheel arch instructions

Ciao,
I have noticed that I have a broken plastic part under my car.
I was making the periodic check (because of the garage where I have to park my car ) and I noticed this (click to enlarge):

In the picture you can see (in yellow) the broken part (passenger side) and in red the "right" one (driver side)

I think I identified the broken part, as follows:
Porsche part no: 997 504 123 00

I was wondering if:
1. you can confirm me the part I have to buy
2. if you have instructions on how to do it (like TIS for BMW or something similar...)

Thanks in advance for your precious help

Ciao
Ale

I checked with the porsche dealer.
Confirmed.
The part is that one (but the other side: 997 504 124 00)
I ordered it.
As soon as it arrives, I'll try to replace the old one.
With instruction it would have been easier, but somehow I'll do it.

OKB is infamous around these parts
you just take off all the screws and take the old part out then put the new one back in. you just have to fit it into place. Its simple.

Do I have to take out the bumper first?

No the bumper does not need to come off. But you will need to jack up the front of the car, support it with proper jack stands, and then remove the front wheel on the side that you plan to swap out the parts to simplify the process of removal and refitting. (If you are not comfortable removing a wheel and using jack stands stop here and take the part to the dealer or competent repair shop to install.)
The piece you're replacing is typically held in with 10mm plastic nuts and a few Torx screws. You can see where the fatteners go by looking at the holes and clips on the new part before you start to remove the old one. The top of the new part clips into the forward most part of the upper wheel well liner and the bottom fits into the bottom trailing edge of the bumper. Remove the fasteners that secure the old part. Once they are all removed, pull the bottom of the liner out from the front bumper then work the rest of it out till you get to the area where it separates from the well liner and pull them apart. You'll need to maneuver the part your removing a little bit to get it out completely. If you run into difficulty separating the two parts just remove the upper wheel well liner along with the piece you're replacing. Then just reverse the process making sure that both the top clips are firmly attached to the upper wheel well liner and the bottom fits snuggly up against the bumper. Once you get the front wheel off it will all make more sense to you.

Sounds doable.
As soon as the part arrives and I have a couple of hours, I'll do it.
Thanks again. Rep given

I know - old thread! But I wanted to post my thanks because I just replaced both my fender liners and this was very helpful.

I found I needed two different size Torx screwdrivers - T20 for the four screws inside the wheel well and T25 for the three underneath. (I think that's the first time I've ever actually used my Torx screwdrivers except to punch holes in things.)
