We have a skinny car seat for the back for occasional use for our 2 year old. The factory seat was only for the passenger seat and we wanted something for the back. It is a Britax and fits ok even in a Targa.

I should add that the dealer recently gave me a 2010 Cayenne loan car. I was shocked to learn that with the car seat I had to move my seat forward to give my daughter room. What a terrible back seat setup. Even a 2 year old was pushing on my seat!
