Fab Speed Maxflow Exhaust System

I have a 2008 997 and I am considering upgrading the exhaust with the Fab Speed Maxflow system. Does anyone have any experience with this system they could share. I am also looking for someone in the Houston, TX area with the Fab Speed Maxflow exhaust on their car that would let me hear their car before I made the change. Thanks in advance for any information.

I installed the same Fabspeed setup on my 2006 Carrera S. Good quality, easy to install. When you drive it normal its only a little louder than stock and there is no drone at any speed. When you put your foot into it, it really sounds good. For me it's the perfect setup.

+1 on no drone and great sound through the power band.

Sound system doesn't get much use as car itself sounds better.

Highly recommend.

I would recommend x-pipe with 200cell cats and also softronic ecu flash, with stock mufflers. It will be 2 times louder than stock. If you add maxflo mufflers it will be 4-5 times louder than stock, for my wife it was too loud so she forced me to take them off.

If you will not do ECU flash you may eventually get O2 sensors related CEL from any 200 or 100 cell cats, some say sensor extenders help, some say it does not help. Fabspeed says new catalists they use now never produce CELs so, discuss this topic with vendor.
