Carrera Red leather
Carrera Red leather
After about a month with the red interior, I can honestly say it's not feeling "difficult to live with" in the least. On the contrary, every time I get in I'm impressed with how special it feels. My step-dad saw the car for the first time yesterday and said "wow, it looks like the inside of a whorehouse!" And ya know, he's exactly right! And what could be better than that?
That's funny! I don't think anyone ever said that about the inside of my car (Carrera Red) even though I get in it and think the same as your step dad. I had it in my 2008 Boxster RS60 first and when I got my 2008 911CS it also has the same except the carpet is black versus red. I will say it looks beautiful and when I upgrade to a 991 I may get the same color again inside. It looks rich, sexy and rare as you can see on the forum that there are not a lot of cars with this color inside. From what I see, you have silver exterior which I also have and I think those two colors look great together. Good Luck with it and enjoy!

I tried to do black carpets but I was too late in ghe model run when I ordered.....wouldn't allow it. I am gling to upgrade to black floor mats, though, partially for practicality in the winter.
That's a great idea, I when I got my 911 it had the red Porsche mats that deviated the car and it looked great, then I went and got the black mats. The only fear I have is if someone with new jeans try to sit in the car, you may get a stain on the leather. Other than that, I recommend you use Griot's Garage Interior Cleaner, I use it often to keep the seats new and in great shape. Also, you could use some other stuff that the guys in the detail forum use. Look for posts from Moe, Phil, and others, they have great experiences and know the best products to use, they are the experts! Again, enjoy!
