Kudos to Porsche!

Kudos to Porsche..

For making a car that after 1+ years of owning/driving I am still excited to get up every morning and even in the crazy downtown traffic, drive my sweet 6MT Targa 4S! I love the beautiful panoramic roof that fills the cabin with warmth of sun rays or the yellow street lamp glow; the growl of the engine purring through my hands, and slick shifts/blips of the manual transmission.

Sunshine, sleet, ice, or snow its just such a pleasure to be in. I use to be obsessed with looks, leather, and gadgets, but that all fades and impriminted in your memory is the exhilirating 911 experience! Seriously, no substitute!

I love Targa's. It was that or a Convertible, and I found my Vert first. Grats!

Enjoyed reading your post. I love my C4S Uhn. Tons of grip, power and composure. These modern cars however needs to be driven hard to expose their brilliant character unlike the air-cooled cars. Hence some of the bad rep from a few rabid air-cooled enthusiasts who believe that a true Porsche 911 no longer exists. You talk about being excited after 18 months, those guys are excited even after 18 years.
