Well I had my first 911 (07 C2S) for all of three weeks before I sold it. I just picked up a 997.2. What a difference the PDK with sport plus makes. The car had Factory Painted Black C2S wheels on it and I replaced them with the Ruger Mesh concave wheels in Hyper Silver. I'll be selling the C2S wheels if anyone is interested.

 

That was quick turnaround! Was your 997.1 a 6 speed?

 

The 07 was a Tiptronic.

 

I wouldn't have been thrilled about a tip either.

Way to go. I also just bought a 2009 997.2 C2S w/ PDK & love it. Big difference in my opinion from the tiptronic. Those Rugers look great!

Nice move! Not to offend anyone, but tip cannot compare to manual or PDK. IMO it's a waste to have a performance car with a tip transmission.

 

I agree. That is the best reason to get the .2 or 991.

Thanks for all the compliments. After the Z06 my left leg was tired and I was done with Manual transmissions. The tip was lack luster but fine for the 2 weeks I had it! The PDK is great, especially with sport plus.
