Just received (in today's mail) a nice 991 marketing gift from PCNA. It's a little hard cover booklet describing the 991 and a nice 'paper-weight' with body side profiles (on see through plastic plates that rest in the base) of all the Porsche 911's showing how much that car has 'grown' since 1963. They took that concept from a display at the Porsche Museum in Zuffenhausen.

It's personalized (name is printed on the base) as well.

Now we know why the base price of the 991 has jumped; it must pay for all the PCNA marketing expenses.

 

Looks nice....I ordered one; should be here soon.

991 guys might not be happy I have one....

Received mine about a month ago - it looks good and gets a lot of comments in my office.

 

I'm still waiting for mine to show up. Didn't realize a book was coming with the transparent profiles...

 

is this the one where you had to register on a website to get one? because I did and they didn't send me one yet

 

which website was this? i think it was a promo a while back and not sure if you can still get em.

 

It was the PCNA web site and you had to be a registered user. I don't really recall the details but I think it was handled by request. Send an email to the PCNA 'Contact Us' and find out if you can still get one.

I got one in early December, I just bought my GT3 so didn't really want it. Sold it a week later.

 

How did you manage to sell it when they are personalized w/ your name. Did you find someone w/ the same name? (lol)

 

Mine came in the mail today (3/3/2012). Pretty cool.

 

I got that a couple weeks ago-Prosche wasted their money on something I have no use for-a gift certificate would have been better. js
