What does this look like to you? Slate or Meteor Grey

Hey guys,

So i might be pulling the bullet on this car shortly but i had a quick question.
The dealer lists this as Meteor Grey but after looking at some pictures online it looks more like slate to me.
Can anyone chime in and tell me what they think.
Meteor or Slate?

Thanks

The reflection of the concrete walls and tile along with overcast day is effecting the photos appearance.

Ask the dealer to give you the paint code either from the VIN or have him look inside the gas compartment lid then you won't have to depend on your eyes - seems like a simple request. My dealer listed the car I purchased as Basalt Black until I asked for the paint code and found out it was really black.

Can't you verify with the VIN and a VIN Decoder? Or better yet, isn't the Paint Code usually found on the inside engine bay area by Radiator Support (driver or passenger sides), Driver's side door jamb, or Back compartment Panel.

You can use this site to verify paint codes for that model year (it doesn't appear to be listed in your posts):

Paint code is usually listed on the inside of the gas compartment lid. Not sure what your referring to in the engine compartment since the radiators are up front. Here's what it looks like - 041 is black.

Looks like Meteor to me. I don't appreciate the brown tint that I usually associate with Slate.

Lighting greatly affects the appearance of Meteor, and I think that is why you are questioning.

Please let us know what you find out!
