little help dme on auto?
On a Tiptronic equipped Porsche 997 I've been told that you cannot over-rev so a DME report might not be very useful. On a PDK equipped car I suspect it's revs are also controlled and/or limited by the DME although I don't know this for sure.

I was looking at an '07' turbo with tip and the DME showed revs in ranges 1&2. I had the DME read on my GTS with PDK today and it showed revs in ranges 1 & 2. Shortly before having it read I took the GTS to redline in manual in 2nd gear.
Really, that all you have? I would expect a better attempt then this one!
