I'm not comparing manufactures I realize programs are different, but a co-worker purchased a 08' Volvo S80 from a Chevy dealer. When he took it in for service on his receipt it had the CPO expiration date. He had no idea it had ever been Certified. During the next visit to Volvo dealer he sheepishly inquired and they said once the CPO is tied to the car they have no way of removing it.
