No droning, sir. Did mine awhile ago. Absolutely love it. Don't just take my word for it. Do a search on "gundo hack" and you'll find many members here echoing what I said. Good luck.

This mod is simply for audio. It will not effect how the sports mode function.
A search on "gundo hack" you will find some audio clip on this forum.

I understand that the sport mode will not be affected the mapping on sport mode, but at the same time the mapping changes also the cat gets louder.
This mod is for cars without that function or I can do it on mine, what will happen when I press sport mode will it get much more louder or without pressing it will be like it was on sport? I hope someone can understand my poor English jajaja

The Sport Mode function will continue to work exactly as great as it does now with the Gundo Hack. When I Gundo Hacked my car, I swore I felt like the overall performance increased a hair. But it was likely just that I could hear the engine responsiveness so much better and that increased auditory input made it seem faster. Rest assured you will love the Gundo Hack.

If you push your sports button today and the exhaust gets louder then you have PSE, then this mod is not for you. This mod is for those of us that don't have PSE but want the loudness. If this mod is done, then it will be loud all the time. It doesn't matter whether the sports mode is on or off.

PS. Not sure if your "jajaja" was intentional but I lmao. Good one.

Totally new to all this and doing my initial research for this Gundo work, so please pardon any noob questions :

I know it may have been answered already but has anyone had any issues with "voiding of warranty" with this hack?

What extra parts do I exactly need to get in order to have the hack done?

What is the total cost for this, professionally installed? Any good recommended installers in the SF bay area, SoBay preferred as I'm in Santa Clara...

...I'm deciding btw Gundo or an Fvd sport PDK exhaust setup which is around $2800, any thoughts and input greatly appreciated as always..

This does not effect the warranty. When in doubt, ask your local stealer.
No extra parts needed. Just need to get someone to do the welding.
Cost?? Well, that depends. To have a shop do it, I have seen it go from 200 to 350. You can do it yourself for about $80 to $100 (welding cost). The job is really simple. DIY is on this thread. I did mine myself with no help. If I can do it, anyone can.

Thanks so much Slick! This thread is great and very informative with your DIY, etc.

I saw that you mentioned also putting in the Fabspeed x pipe, does that step/part enhance the performance since the Gundo is only for sound?

After some research I'm thinking about the Gundo hack + Fab x pipe or FVD Bypass ( both prices are almost the same )....just can't decide on which to go with yet. Going to have a shop do this work as I'm the most technically challenged person, etc...

Please feel free to share any thoughts/ feedback on the above guys. Thanks!

Fabspeed claims some increase in horses but I don't track my car so honestly under normal driving I can't say I noticed any difference. They have a dyno chart on their website though. The growl of the xPipe plus gundo combo is just intoxicating.
