Hey guys
My stepfather will be picking up his 2007 997.1 C4S on Saturday. CPO report looked good he drove the car and I drove the car its solid. DME report is coming to my inbox tonight. He is excited to say the least.
What am I looking for in the DME report?
What constitutes a bad car?
It is CPO from the dealer so warranty should be good.
What are the most common issues with this car? if I am not mistaken this motor is a pretty good one. Please let me know what should be preventatively done or what I should check to make sure it was done. Car has 22k miles. Guards red on Sand beige, full leather, sports chrono, thicker steering wheel, Turbo wheels, and sicamore package.

If it's a CPO'd car you don't have to worry about anything until the CPO expires in a year. If you want to worry do a search for "DME" or " reading DE" and you will find a wealth of information in response to your question.

I just wanted to ask, I may be on the wrong site, but here goes....
I keep wanting to get an extended warranty for both my 07' 997 turbo and my 03' 996 turbo but since I'm clueless does anyone have a suggestion. I can't just come up with 7000.00 cash at the dealer and I need to find a good one that I can make payments on. What do you guys do? Anything would help!
