I am new to P-Car world too, but they don't look custom to me, looks like a well made product...(based on the welds etc)

Based on some more GOOGLE searches, it looks like AWE and some others make cat's for 997's based on the HJS converter i.e buy the cat from HJS and design the tubing for their specific needs..

Well that I am not sure, since I have never seen a AWE cat, but looking at an image of the AWE cat it looks very similar:
