Should have been more clear, saw black droplets/had sooty exhaust tips when new, does not occur now.

It was oil that had come out of the exhaust, full of carbon, again when fairly new (< 7k miles).

I will need to get them shipped somewhere close the the border and go pick them up if I make a purchase on Amazon. The alternative is that I will start using Castrol 5W40 which can be found at local walmart stores for $10/1L and sometimes they go on sale for $8/1L.

Now that I think about it; how come we didn't get one of those with the car from dealership (assuming buying new)? I get one of the BMW pouch/bag with 1L of motor oil inside with every BMW I had.
