Some shots of a few recent upgrades
Thanks for the compliments guys
G vs P:
The Gallardo was dead sexy, no question an amazing looking car and an even more intoxicating exhaust note at wot. Loved the gated six speed too. But it was a space ship to drive, very hard clutch and heavy steering. It started making a clicking noise from the tranny that would come and go sometimes, and the idle was never steady from day one. Just worried me something was gonna break. The front diff would bind at slow speeds when the wheel was turned all the way too. Lastly, people taking pictures of your celebrity status at every red light does get old, believe it or not.
The turbo is faster in reality and feels faster by the seat of the pants too when the turbos start pumping. It's got the same hp, but more tq than the Gallardo's v10 had. It's much easier to drive, I don't cringe when it rains and I'm out and about, and I don't fear being stranded when theres only a quarter tank of gas either. Maybe it's more boring, well, it's definitely more boring, but overall, it really is the better car
Before the Gallardo I had a 996tt, the 997 is worlds better.
Happy for now! Though I'm sure one day I'll get bored and end up with some sort of Ferrari in my garage. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll keep the TT and pick up a 355 berlinetta, so beautiful!
