Road trips in the 997

Hi everyone,

I was wondering what is the longest road trip (in terms of miles) that you guys have taken in your 997 and if you came across any issues with the car.

1300 Miles, South Florida home to Michigan. Wasn't really a road trip, I bought the car over Christmas last year, spent my vacation down in FLA and drove it straight back. 1300 miles in 17 hours, only stopping for gas. No issues.

** EDIT - Topped off Oil once.

3000mi round trip for about 9 days, and the car was flawless. Unless you count the frequent topping off of oil. Take your own oil.

I recently took a 2300 mile road trip, staring from Santa Rosa, Monterey, down the Hwy 1 to San Luis Obispo, San Diego, Las Vegas, and ended with 2 Buttonwillow track days. Zero issues

Edit: It did burn about .5 quart of oil after the track day

The Hwy 1 was beautiful, highly recommended if you have an opportunity to make the drive! Here are some pictures

Fla, to upstate NY (and around Fla for a few days) aprox 1500 Plus miles. No issues, no oil added. Starting mileage at about 5600 on the car.
BTW/ 9800 miles currently and no oil added from 5600 miles when I picked it up. It did drop a bar.
